Referendar at its European Regional Headquarters near Paris (Ch. De Gaulle Airport, Roissy 95).
Job Description: The candidate will work with Delphi's European operations on a variety of commercial, corporate, and transactional matters ranging
from supply contracts, distribution agreements, technology licensing agreements to acquisitions, joint ventures and restructurings, as well as litigation. The position
requires an energetic, pro-active, decisive, commercially minded and practical Referendar able to function effectively in a team environment working with people from around
the world. We will work a lot on German matters, too.
The Team in Paris: The legal team is made up of seven international lawyers (2 German). It is a small young team that works autonomously in an informal US-style working
environment, and is looking for a good temporary fit.
Experience: Some exposure to international commercial and/or corporate matters (part-time, stage, waiting period, etc. in a law firm and/or similar working experience).
Word, Outlook, etc. proficiency. Maybe you have an LL.M?
Languages: The working language at Delphi is English. In addition to proficiency in written and spoken (legal) English and obviously German, other European languages like
French, Spanish, etc., would come very handy.
Other: In order to allow for best mutual effect, you should commit to (at least) a 4 months stage, and a full time working schedule. Compensation to supplement your cost
of living is to be agreed. Anwalts- or Wahlstation possible depending on JAO requirements. This position is not meant to lead to employment with Delphi.
